Bullous Pemphigoid
- A blistering disease in which the body’s immune system attacks the skin, causing blisters to form
Cold Sore (Herpes Labialis)
- A common infection
- Caused by the virus Herpes Simplex
Dermatitis Herpetiformis
- An uncommon blistering disease
- May affect the elbows, knees, scalp, buttocks and other areas
- It is not a form of herpes
Pityriasis Lichenoides et Varioliformis Acuta (PLEVA)
- A rare rash associated with scaly spots that become blisters and crusts

- Similar reactions are seen with Giant Hogweed
Shingles (Herpes Zoster)
- A common painful eruption
- Due to reactivation of the chicken pox virus
- Produces blisters arranged in rows and lines on the skin
